“Un-Block The Music” has been using the quarantine to improve my site, and I am hoping to find a social media enthusiast to hire for about three hours a week to start. If this could be you, email me at email@example.com. I have interviewed a lot of fantastic artists from musicians to behind the scene geniuses in the last three months, and I have so many interviews already set for the next few weeks. I want to get “the word” out there!
“Un-Block The Music” has also continued to work with WFYL 1180AM on the show “From Bullets To Broadway, The Anatomy of a Broadway Show, featuring Emergency The Musical.” Changes have been made to that program’s format that I will share with you later in the week. And to remind you, always look for an article about an aired episode on Monday following the broadcast.
Admittedly, it has been very hard to concentrate through all of the sadness facing our nation, not only with Co-Vid 19 but with the civic unrest. While I know laws don’t change overnight, and it takes even longer to change mindsets, “Un- Block the Music” is feeling encouraged by the dialog that peaceful protesters have created, and I put my support behind New York Governor Andrew Cuomo who ensures that progress is being made quickly.
That being said, “Un-Block The Music” would like to offer a tentative calendar through July.
Women Wednesdays has been very popular since I introduced the series in April. I would like to extend the invitation for readers to email me about any woman in any genre of music that they would like to see interviewed for the series. And, of course, “Un-Block The Music” is excited to talk about any story ideas beyond that series …so please send any comments and leads. I love hearing from you!
