Guitarist Peter Calo & Laurel Masse To Create Magic In NYC Suburb’s Schoolhouse Theatre

It’s a funny thing how networking happened for “Un-Block The Music”. My oldest daughter is an event planner. She knew a photographer who knew another photographer who could help me with pictures I needed done more quickly than ASAP. That photographer, Doug Abdelnour of Bedford Photo-Graphic, is the resident photographer for the Schoolhouse Theatre in North Salem, a suburb of New York City. I have lived 15 minutes from this theater for the last 25 years, I thought it was only for kids. I WAS WRONG!

I found Peter Calo who has composed music for and performed in Schoolhouse Theatre’s production of “The Mask Of The Jaguar King.” However, you may recognize the names of popular artists he has worked with including The Roots, Queen Latifah, Willie Nelson, Hall and Oates, Linda Eder and my all-time favorite female singer/songwriter Carly Simon! He has also released several of his own CDs, most recently, “Time Machine” which spawned the single “Don’t Ever Go Away.”

Peter performs at The Schoolhouse quite often. In fact, tickets are on sale for his January 26 show with Laurel Masse, founding member of the GRAMMY-winning group The Manhattan Transfer.
