Happy New Year everyone! “Un-Block The Music” has lots in store for 2019! Follow the blog here, as well as on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The more followers the better the stories!
Blogging is a whole new world for this journalist who continues to learn about all the cool things that can be done, including videos and live broadcasts. An updated blog and newsletter will debut before Spring. A new category will also be added which will focus on music education. If you are involved with a school or outside training program doing splendid things to expose students to music and help create a well-round person, please contact me! If you missed them, check out stories about Circle In The Square Theatre School, Berklee, Broadway Workshop and Random Farms.
Next week, look for a story about “Emergency” a new musical written by a father and son, Jeff and Jacob Foy. They are the recipients of a $10,000 grant from Tony-Award winner Ken Davenport’s Inner Circle. (https://www.theproducersperspective.com/the-inner-circle)

At the time, they weren’t able to announce their summer mainstage, but here now here is the information. It is “Matilda” the musical for grades 3-12.
